This past weekend Keyne turned 4. Don't be fooled though, when you ask him he will tell you 5. Sometimes it gets me and I think that he is 5 because he is so sure of it.
He has been so excited about his birthday for the past month. I went shopping for his stuff at the beginning of January so ever since then he has kept asking if his birthday was here. He would take the frosting out of the pantry and ask if we could make his cupcakes for his birthday. And every time we bought something at the store, he would ask "is it for my birthday."
Finally when it was his birthday he was so excited. I made him his special birthday shirt a couple weeks ago and he's been dying to wear it.

It was nice enough outside that day that we got to jump on the tramp for a little bit, but the wind got too cold so we went back inside.

Keyne is such a fun and cute boy. He knows that he's cute too and can get away with things with his big eye, dimples and cute smile.

He just loves to play with is brothers and for the most part keeps up with them. He is full of energy and life. He is a stubborn kid and knows what he wants and tries to get what he wants but at the same time very sensitive and sweet.

For his party, we had a couple of families over from the branch. It's so great because all of our kids play so well together. No one fights and the adults can just relax and talk and the kids just entertain themselves. We had dinner and then played a couple of games.
First we playing pin the wheel on the train. Yes, Keyne is lifting up the blind fold so he can see.

Then we played hot potato with a train car bean bag.

Keyne soon learned that if he hung onto the train longer his chances of getting candy when the music stop went up. He definitely got the most candy.

When then opened presents.

I seriously love that smile!

Then we had cake and cupcakes. Keyne and Tasyn helped me make them, both were really excited to help.

I was so glad that he let us use the #4 candle. We bought a #5 just in case he had a fit. But he didn't mind and was excited to blow out his candles.

I sure love my little train loving boy! He's so much fun to have and I couldn't imagine life without him!
