Lots of sun!

Today the young men had a yard sale for scout camp.  We went to shop, but ended up staying for the whole thing because I spent all my money (and because Terry acceidentally locked my keys in the car).  It was a lot of fun, they raised about $400 and it went really well.  The men had to go work on an eagle project, so the women ran it for awhile.  I found really good things there and the kids had a blast playing wtih the other kids.  It was a good morning!  When we got home, the boys decided to run in the sprinkles to cool off.  Tyce just doesn't like having pants on.... silly kid!Tyce and Kanyon sitting on the sprinklers. At the yard sale Kanyon fell off the back of a chair and bit his tongue.  It was pretty bad and bleeding lots but he was a trooper and let me put pressure on it.  He soon went back to playing with his friends.   This is a couple of hours later, it's not bleeding now and soon it will heal.

Growing boys

Today Keyne and Kanyon had doctor appointments.  Keyne had his four month and Kanyon had his four year (I'm a little late).  It went well and both boys are healthy.  Kanyon now weight 37 pounds (50th) and is 41 inches tall (50th).  Keyne weighs 12lbs 5oz (10th) and is 25 inches tall (50th).  Keyne had a huge growth spurt and is finally catching up.  Recently he has just looked so big to me.  Just the past week he has started to grab and play with toys and started trying to roll over from back to stomach.  They both are getting so big!

It is always fun bringing all three boys... lets just say a lot of people are looking at us.  It's never fun when I don't have Tyce contained (ie in a shopping cart).  When I was setting up another appointment, both boys had ran up some stairs and so I had to get them.  Then Kanyon had to go to the bathroom (for the second time), so I had to drop everything because when he needs to go, he needs to go now.  Fun stuff.  I didn't lose it like I always do in Walmart, I was pretty calm and patient.  People aren't lying when they call boys "busy."

Wow what a weekend

We had a very busy weekend.  We spent all day outside on Saturday and most of the day outside today.  Terry and the boys worked on taking down a dog run in our backyard and cleaning up the backyard.  Then today we got some sod from a friend, so Terry dug up some bad spots in our grass and laid the sod down.  He was beat by the end of it, he just crashed on the couch, in a not so comfortable position and he was out, I took a good 5 pictures and he had no clue.   Whenever one of us tries to sleep on the couch, we are never alone! While the boys were working on the yard, I found a glider rocker at a garage sale on Saturday.  I have been looking for awhile now, so when Keyne moves into the nursery I will have somewhere to sit when I feed him.  Well I thought this was okay, it's pretty comfortable and in good condition.  I paid $25 for it (a little more than I wanted to) but I didn't realize that it smelt like smoke, yuck!  I didn't let it into my house until I got the smell under control.  I went through a huge bottle of febreeze and plan on doing it again soon.  I really didn't care for the look, so I spent most of the weekend working on it.  I don't know what I was thinking, it took forever to do the cushion because I did it all by hand (I have three bandaids on because of blisters and poking myself).  I do like how it turned out though, the bottom and back are not pretty, I didn't measure the material very well.... oops.  As long as no one looks at it up close, it's looks pretty good :).  Hopefully it won't fall apart anytime soon, I'm going to have to keep Tyce away, he likes to pull out the buttons.  So here it is, in Keyne room where it belongs.

Tooth ache + upset stomach = grumpy me

Well I'm really glad that I got my tooth pulled on Sunday but it has been bleeding ever since.  It finally stopped today, but I think that it's infected now.  I did everything to try to stop it, I even slept with gauze in my mouth.  I sucked on tea bags, put ginger on a cotton ball and nothing happened.  So I have swallowed a lot of blood... and that has made me not feel so good.  So I have been not too nice to everyone in the family.  It was funny because I recently talked to one of my friends that has three young kids like me and she was having a rough day.  I felt like I finally had this three kids thing under control, well I lost all control this week.  They have been driving me nuts!  Luckily we have another long weekend and we can get all of their energy out.

Funny story, I was at the library today and a lady asked me if I was babysitting the boys.... she was pretty shocked when I told her that all three of them were mine.  I hope that she doesn't think I was a teenage pregnancy because that's so common here

It is good to be home!

We got back into town Monday night.  The boys did great in the car but by the time we got home, we all were sick of the car.  I really enjoy going places, but it's nice to get home and get back onto our schedule and daily routines.  My bed felt so nice and I slept great!  I have had to do a lot of laundry, I was behind when we left,  so that's all I have been doing.  Tyce wanted to help me but he got distracted.  He found a pair of shorts that were his favorite color and then wanted to put them on.  What a silly boy.

A quick trip to Rock Springs

Since the dentist here couldn't get me until October, I decided to take matters into my own hands. I took the pliers out and pop. Not really, that would be crazy! We went to Rock Springs to a family friend and got the tooth pulled. This was the first time for 1 1/2 years that I have gone back to my home town. It was quick but great. I got to see my two favorite friends from Rock Springs. Just happened that Bee was there from Utah visiting her parents and it was great to see here (it's been three years) and we got to visit. We also got to see Beaner's new house adn visit with her. It was just great to see them, blogs, emails and phone calls are just not like seeing each other in person. Too bad we were only there for a couple of hours because I could have talked for hours!!

Here are the boys before watching a movie, so cute!

Family and friends are fun!

Well today we had a great first day in Laramie. We went to the local Burger King and played at the playplace and then went to the church and let the kids go wild! It was so nice to get caught up with old friends and family. It sure makes us miss this place! Tyce and his cousin Eleni, they are 6 weeks apart. They have only met twice, but they really started playing with each other and it was sure cute!Kanyon and he's good buddy, Quinn. They are only 8 days apart and have been best friends since they were about 5 months old. They are loving playing together and have gotten along so well. Keyne and Nash. Nash is Keyne's cousin and about two months older, but a good 5 pounds bigger. You really can't tell in the pictures, but Nash is just a solid kid compared to Keyne.

Carter holding Keyne, he is Tyce's good friend too but he wanted to hold Keyne.

Our typical afternoon

The boys love to destroy my couch each afternoon. They have ripped a hole in the slip cover and they like to climb in and crawl underneath it. Well I patched it up and then made another hole to do it. They also like to just take off the slip cover and go crazy! Good thing this ugly couch was only $5 at a garage sale :)

Happy Mother's Day!

What a great day today!  I got breakfast in bed and treated great today.  Also we got to spend it with Terry's parents, and it was just great to talk and get all caught up.  Church was nice, I love to know that people do think that stay at home moms are great and that it is a hard thing to do.  Too bad I had to teach the lesson in Relief Society... I stressed about it all last week.  Luckily there were a lot of good comments that made it go better.  Terry and the boys made me cards and gave me a couple of movies, a professional massage and chocolate... heaven!

Happy Mother's Day to all of you Mom's out there!  As time goes on and the more kids that I have, I really start to appreciate the mom's out there.  It is not a easy thing to do, to be a mother.  The sacrifices and time and energy.  So thank you to the two Moms in my life.  To my mom that has raised me and taught me so much and to Terry's mom that taught he some much!  You two are amazing and wonderful women!

Fun in KS

Terry's parents got into town this afternoon and the fun began.  We of course had to go to the zoo... that's about the only thing to do here :).  We had fun and it was a beautiful day.  I love our zoo, it's a great size, not too big but not small either (and it's free!).  The boys can walk the whole way and it is a good afternoon outing.  We are so close to the animals.  One of our favorite things to do is feed the giraffes twigs and leaves.  Sometimes we will just sit there for 30 minutes and feed them.  This giraffe wasn't too interested. Here's Tyce trying to feed the giraffe, she didn't care for it.Grandma brought binoculars and Kanyon loved them!  He loved looking at all the animals through them, it seems like he liked them so much that he always had them.

I need suggestions

Does anyone know how to get rid of craddle cap?  Keyne has really bad and I just don't know what to do for it.  Is it bad to pick at it because I am the worst at that.

Newton Teeth

You know those afwul genes that in your family that you always hope that skip your generation?  Well my family has bad teeth and pretty much everyone got them.  Well there's no exception for me, I have too big of teeth and too small of mouth and not the strongest teeth.  Well for the past month I have had a tooth ache.  It wasn't horrible, as long as I took medicine it was fine.  Well I finally cracked down and went to the dentist.  I learned that I have an infection and need either a root canal or crown.  That's what I figured what was going to happen and I figured it was going to cost us $1000 to fix it.  Well I didn't realize that they weren't going to be able to get me in until October!  The past few nights have been awful, I wake up every 2 hours in the night in pain.  I can't lay on one side and so I'm not very comfortable.  Hopefully soon the infection wil be gone and so will the pain.
