Water Park

One thing that has been hard about living here is that it is the middle of no where. I always thought that Wyoming was bad and that you couldn't get further away, but I was wrong. It is a good 3 1/2 hours from again decent sized town. We were spoiled in Laramie, having Cheyenne and Fort Collins only an hour away. It's not the shopping that we miss, it's just the chance to get out of town for a day. Recently a little water park has opened up in a town about an hour away from us, so we decided to go check it out. It was a lot of fun! It is a great park for little kids, it has THREE kiddie pools with lots of slides and themes, like a pirate ship. It also has four bigger water slides too. We went with our new friends the Baxters and just enjoyed the day. The boys had a blast, we were there for 2 1/2 hours, which is a very long time for us. Plus we had a chance to drive down to Oklahoma, the first time that I have ever been there. It didn't look any different than Kansas. It was just really nice to get out of the house and spend the day somewhere else for a change.
